Description:  

The Law of the Sea Interest Group (LOSIG) will provide a forum for those involved in or interested in international ocean law issues including maritime navigation and delimitation, jurisdiction over maritime spaces, exploration and exploitation of the seabed, international fisheries, marine pollution, dispute settlement, and the several international institutions focused on the law of the sea. Within the LOSIG, members from academia, private practice, and government may exchange information and points of view on recent developments and possible future directions in the law of the sea. Among other things, the LOSIG will endeavor to publish a regular newsletter, organize and cooperate on the organization of panels, conferences and workshops on law of the sea issues, and collaborate with other groups focused on the law of the sea.
